What is National Search Engine Optimizers Day?
- Dana Larson first announced the day on June 26, 2008 on Twitter. She “made it up,” but “National Search Engine Optimizers Day” was born.
- Dana Lookadoo retweeted “Let’s make it so!” Dana & Dana direct messaged, purchased the domain, and held a closed-door email session.
- Dana & Dana retweeted, and word spread. Announcements of “National Search Engine Optimizer Day“ rang across the World Wide Web.
- Lee Odden, AndyBeal and Brent Nau showed their support for the movement the following morning while secretly savoring the idea of giving their SEO staff the day off with triple pay.
- Jonathan “viraled” the movement and blogged about National Search Engine Optimizers Day after seeing Dana Larson’s tweet on Twitter.
